The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees for the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The awards ceremony will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites on Sunday, May 1st. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will also be held at the Bonaventure on Friday, April 29th, 2016. The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award Nominations is a world-class awards celebration honoring the best and brightest of the Daytime television.

Tom Geagan began his career as an actor in England, studying at the Drama Studio London. Returning to the States, Tom continued both acting and directing in Los Angeles on several independent films and commercials. He then turned his interests towards filmmaking and studied Cinematography at UCLA.

Over the past 15 years, Tom has worked as a cameraman on many films, including Full on Empty, Violet and Panic in Motion. His film credits as a Director of Photography include Straight Life, Death for Dinner and Present Perfect.

For the past 10 years, Tom has been traveling the world as the Director/Director of Photography and Editor for the PBS travel series, Travelscope, starring multi-award winning travel journalist, Joseph Rosendo.

Tom has been a member of the Atticus Productions since 2007, working as a Director/Director of Photography and Editor on various productions including KRUSING AMERICA, Gino Cucino and Tutto Tuscany.
