The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees for the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The awards ceremony will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites on Sunday, May 1st. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will also be held at the Bonaventure on Friday, April 29th, 2016. The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award Nominations is a world-class awards celebration honoring the best and brightest of the Daytime television.

Tom Geagan began his career as an actor in England, studying at the Drama Studio London. Returning to the States, Tom continued both acting and directing in Los Angeles on several independent films and commercials. He then turned his interests towards filmmaking and studied Cinematography at UCLA.

Over the past 15 years, Tom has worked as a cameraman on many films, including Full on Empty, Violet and Panic in Motion. His film credits as a Director of Photography include Straight Life, Death for Dinner and Present Perfect.

For the past 10 years, Tom has been traveling the world as the Director/Director of Photography and Editor for the PBS travel series, Travelscope, starring multi-award winning travel journalist, Joseph Rosendo.

Tom has been a member of the Atticus Productions since 2007, working as a Director/Director of Photography and Editor on various productions including KRUSING AMERICA, Gino Cucino and Tutto Tuscany.

Director LINDA KRUSE Wins #55 Award with KRUSING AMERICA Missouri at Iowa Motion Picture Awards!

Linda Kruse wins Award of Excellence at The 25th Annual Iowa Motion Picture Awards 

Pella, IA  On April 16, 2016 The Iowa Motion Picture Association held the 25th Annual Iowa Motion Picture Awards at The Historic Pella Opera House. There were 108 entries in thirty-one categories. 

\Linda Kruse’s entry titled “KRUSING AMERICA Missouri” earned an Award of Excellence in the Educational Production. The Award of Achievement signifies that the entry was nominated for an award and that the entrant submitted a film worthy of recognition.

The Canada International Film Festival has firmly established itself among the top film festivals in Canada. Held each year in the beautiful and cosmopolitan city of Vancouver, British Columbia, the festival brings the very best of
world cinema to Canada from over 90 countries around the world. This year's Festival Program showcased a wide variety of North American and International Feature Films to thought-provoking Shorts, Documentaries, Music Videos, Animations, Experimental Films, Student Films, a Screenplay Competition, and more.

The festival is dedicated to the creation of opportunities for the artistic interaction and exchange among independent filmmakers and the film-going community. Festival-goers create their own experience with everything from Canadian and World Premiers to intimate gatherings and nightly parties.
