One of my favorite part about growing up in southern Italy was all the tomatoes. Tomatoes would grow literally anywhere – even on steps leading up to my family home in Aorivola, Italy.

Tomatoes are perfect exactly as they are or…you can make BRUSCHETTA.
Combine in a bowl the following:
Chopped tomatoes, garlic, basil and red onion (optional)
Drizzle with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Add Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix and place on slices of fresh, toasted, or grilled French Bread.
Simple, easy and perfect for a summertime side dish or as a meal.
